The 2010 Ice Bowl was awesome! Over $300 in cash and food donations
were raised because of the event and we made the front page of the
paper (thanks Mark!). Next year's Ice Bowl will be great and we hope to
bring the charitable total up and up each time! Thanks for coming out!!!

| If you weren't there or missed the link on the homepage, doubles in the desert was fun. Next year, we'll probably do it on the Friday before the tournie because of the tired arms! Some of us were out of gas! The doubles matched finished up with a remarkable 9-hole sudden death deadlock. Thanks to all those who made it out (that means you, Mailman!) and we hope to see even more at the next doubles event, Honest Abe's Doubles Challenge on Feb 12th at 5pm. |
| Honest Abe's Doubles Challenge was won with a tasty -17 score on just 19 holes of play. JW/J$ missed only hole 6 (red tee) and hole 17 (blue tee)! Nice overall effort (White/Red/Blue tee order, practice basket from behind 18's basket for 19th hole). Congrats to Jeremiah Bergendahl for his ace on hole 1 during the match! |
....so the Parks and Rec Dept has offered to pay for concrete if KDGS will build and install
concrete tee pads at Firemans Park! Don't miss the chance to be a part of a permanent
improvement to the first disc golf course in Mohave County. Post on the board if you
might be able to help out. Looks like it will be sometime in 2011. we'll post it when we find
out exactly. The project is on hold until the new firefighters memorial is done.
