If ever there was a Disc Golfers Anonymous club for addicts, Josh would be a devout member. Sometimes playing several 18-hole rounds in one day, he strives to post good scores and learn new shots and techniques while enjoying the freedom, challenge and relaxation offered by disc golf. "JW" spearheaded the Kingman Disc Golf Society in the summer of 2009 in an effort to help energize and expand the local scene, a seed that was planted by "The Godfather", and to make others aware of our wonderful and rewarding sport. Josh tends to play strongly at most of our local events. He placed third in the 2010 Ice Bowl, the Spring Fling and the May Daze then ended up winning the 2010 Halloween Howl by 8 strokes, going "wire-to-wire" against a very competitive field. A third place finish at Flagstaff's 2010 Treebash Open followed by a second place finish at the Top of the Pines tournament in July helped push his PDGA rating up to the Mohave County-leading 939 that he held for a while. With lots of help and support from our awesome local community, JW is watching the sport blow up in the Mohave County area as we see top players begin to come out of the region in droves. Josh has a pair of (-7) rounds at Firemans Park red tees, 3 (-9) blue rounds, a (-10) personal best at Cactus Flats and a Mountainview record of (-4) from red tees. He beat out several great players for KDGS' 2010 Player of the Year honors and edged Graham Russell by one ace to become Mohave County's 2010 Ace King with 10 aces, 9 of them after August!
